- That a women came to Georgia and was pregnant and she left the plantation when she saw a sign she could not read.
- That she went on the run towards the mason-dixon to go to the northern states.

Ain't I a Woman
- The man was the white man that owned sojourner.
- That no man helped her over a puddle because she was black but the man would help a white woman.
- She had worked harder than any of white men.
- That no white man was better than her.
- I think she refers to a preist of a church.
- From when god or jesus was born or made it was not just a man who created them.
- If the frist women god made was strong enough to change the world upside down such as women sould have the same rigths as a man.
- Women and men sould have equal rigths no matter their color.
- That if she was able to work hard as she was treated unequal and still rigth this poem then she must have good faith in God.
